Fall is around the corner

With the weather slowly changing (in Missouri, it could be 90° one day and 50° the next) and everyone on Instagram posting all the inspirational fall squares. I feel the need to jump on the bandwagon. How do you feel about an easy, quick, cheap transition into fall with a DIY?

I love decorating my mantle for fall. Don’t have a mantel? Use a cabinet, a large picture, or a headboard.

Materials you’ll need:

• leaf sprig $1

• Yarn/string/twine $2

• Old book pages or paper $1

• Hot glue gun or other adhesive

• Scissors

The total cost for this project is under💲5.00 bucks. Grab your Materials, and let’s get started.

First, I’m going to Measure my mantle. I need approximately 5ft of twine for my mantle—a little extra for slack.

Next, decide how many pages you want to hang. I chose 6 pages for this garland. You will glue the string to the upper backside of your pages.

Next, I’m going to clip my leaves and glue them onto the pages. Easy peasy.

Bam, you now have a one-of-a-kind fall garland for anywhere you want it to go.

If you want to see a fun reel, head to my Instagram to see it in action.
