Transforming Our Space: The Laundry Room Addition

When we decided to add on a laundry room, we wanted to ensure that the design seamlessly blended with the existing space while adding a touch of simplicity and detail. Extending into our garage, the new laundry room features bead board and a cohesive color scheme, with everything painted in the beautiful Sherwin-Williams Oyster Bay. While we eagerly await the arrival of the cabinets, we've already made some exciting additions.

Opting for a double stack washer and dryer has revolutionized our laundry routine, allowing us to tackle two loads simultaneously—a game changer for our busy household. To enhance functionality and charm, I crafted a shelf above the sink and added a delightful sink skirt, infusing the space with personality.

Anticipating the arrival of ample storage with the installation of cabinets, I scoured Facebook Marketplace for the perfect desk to add some sort of design to the unfinished room. After several near misses, I finally secured a beautiful desk, albeit after a few hours' drive.

Now, I have a dedicated space for journaling, organizing my to-do list, writing blog posts, and savoring my morning coffee—a small but cherished addition to our home.
