Do you have a favorite flower in your garden? Mine, by far, are my hydrangea bushes. They are breathtaking for months. Also, long after that, if I cut and dry them. What, you’ve never done this? Let me show you how I create beautiful fall decor inside my home using my hydrangeas.
HOW TO DRY HYDRANGEAS
When the blooms are a color you desire, clip them off the bush. I like to cut far enough down so that the stem is long.
Remove all the leaves from the stem.
In a large container, stand your hydrangeas up straight. I’ve used anything I can get my hands on bowls, baskets, vases, or mason jars.
Don’t add water. You want them to dry.
You can store them in a cool, dark place for a few days. However, I have started decorating with mine right away, and they still dry out nice.
I know everyone has different methods; try other techniques out and find your fit.
I’ve used ours on our coffee table: some are three years old.

I hope you enjoyed learning how I use my hydrangeas all around my home.
